Kasi's Passenger Seat Motocross Chronicles - Texas Main Event Series

Hey everybody...Kasi here! I just wanted to update everyone on what has been going on throughout the rest of the summer.  We have been burning the road up! We have put some stinkin' miles on the ole' RV...she's a trooper!

After camp, we traveled to Norman, OK where we were invited to be the event chaplain at one of the premier national amateur motocross races in the country. We set up in the 115* heat for a week and loved on the unreached motocross community.  We held chapel services in the pit area, preached Jesus each day over the loud speaker, gave out over 50 study bibles, 150+ gallons of water, set up fans and misters for everyone to cool off under, and gave out hundreds of FCA MX water bottles. It was awesome! Our RV was the happenin' place! We were able to build a good relationship with the promoter of the race and with the track owner, which both guys already asked us to come back for next year and were very appreciative of us being there.
Here is our rig set up at the NMA Grand Nationals in Norman, OK

We handed out free water and had misters and fans set up to cool off

Our sandwich board that we recently got for people to see what and when we are doing services, etc.
We also handed out free FCA MX water bottles as well as free Bibles

Right now we are traveling the Texas Main Event Series. This is an awesome opportunity for us! The promoter of the series, Larry Hughes, just so happens to be on our board and has asked us to be one of the title sponsor for this series.  This allows Scott to be able to do the Chapel services at each race over the loud speaker to literally thousands of people. He only gets 5-7 minutes, but that is huge!! The series goes through the middle of October. We are super excited at what God is going to do through this series!!
The first race of the Main Event Series at 3 Palms Raceway...there literally were over 500 entries of just riders not to mention family and friends that were there also! The promoter of the race said there were 3,000 people in the parking lot that night! There were probably 1,000 at the chapel service! This picture doesn't do it justice...couldn't get a pic of everyone there were so many!

It is so cool how God is opening doors for us to spread His Word! We are starting to build more and more relationships within the motocross community and people are really recognizing us more and more and make the extra effort to come and visit with us at the track and hang out in our pits. We are having a blast doing this ministry and couldn't think of a better fit for us right now!! We are so thankful to be used by Him!!

Landri update for those who want to know...:)

Landri turned 5 mths. this week! We can't believe it!! Time has flown by! People always tell you that but you don't really realize it till you have your own. She is rolling all over the place...can't hardly leave her for a second! She is babbling away and learns new noises everyday. She started rice cereal a couple of weeks ago and loves it! She is a little porker :) She has a very sweet spirit and is very smiley! Everyone says she looks like her daddy...although momma thinks different ;)  I am so thankful that I get to stay at home with her and raise her myself. We have a lot of fun together! She still travels really well and loves all the noise at the track. It doesn't phase her at all! She is definitely a moto baby at heart. She is quite the attraction at the track as well, which works good for us because she brings the people to us lol...flaunt the baby, get the people lol.  Overall, she is a really good baby and it has been so fun watching her grow and learn new things daily!

Nothing like a good ole' bath in the RV :)

Landri Jo in her swing at the rig...can't forget about our son Bond. He loves the races and is a great moto dog :)
